Police Respond to Disturbance on Bedford Street

On Friday at approximately 6:00 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Bedford Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival officers observed Aaron Josip Racic yelling in the middle of the street. Officers advised Mr. Racic several times to stop yelling and get out of the street. Mr. Racic ignored the officer’s orders and continued yelling. Several neighbors began exiting their residences due to the disturbance Mr. Racic was creating. Mr. Racic was placed under arrest and transported to the police station. Mr. Racic was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial in District Court.

Arrested – Aaron Josip Racic (36) Cumberland, MD

Charge – Disorderly Conduct

Also Friday, police served an arrest warrant on Kyle Thomas Roberts. The bench warrant was issued from previous possession of controlled dangerous substance charges. Mr. Roberts was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond pending his next court appearance at District Court.
