On November 11th, 2021, the Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Michelle Lynn Sarver, 49, of Cumberland MD. The Summons was in reference to a complaint filed by the Allegany County Public Schools. The Summons charged Sarver with Failing to send a child to school. Sarver was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
