On Tuesday, December 21, 2021 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Jeremy Andrew McKenzie. The warrant was issued as a result of an incident that occurred on December 18, 2021. On this date, officers responded to a Harding Avenue residence for the report of an assault. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim who reported that she had been assaulted by McKenzie. McKenzie had left the area prior to police arrival. Officers observed that the victim had sustained injuries. An application for charges was filed against McKenzie at the District Court of Allegany County and an arrest warrant was issued. McKenzie was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later released on an unsecured $5000 bond pending trial at the District Court of Allegany County.
