Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, along with U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, Congressman Anthony Brown, Congressman Kweisi Mfume, members of the county’s state delegation and County Council, will hold a press conference on Friday, November 4, to advocate for Prince George’s County as the selection process for the new FBI headquarters continues. Two of the three final sites under consideration are located in Prince George’s. Maryland leaders will stress that the criteria used for the past decade, including access to transit, security, cost, environmental impact, and equity considerations are achieved at each of the Prince George’s County sites.
