The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation is moving ahead with preliminary site work along Messick Road for industrial development. The CEDC voted Tuesday to accept a proposal from Specs Engineering to develop a grading and utility package for the site. “The proposal is to develop a grading and utility package for the site to include the preparation of bidding and permitting documents for the main access roads and approximately five major cad sites. The design will incorporate mass freighting, storm water management, and water line and sanitary sewer extensions. It will also include provisions for the extension of power and telecommunications to the site.
