The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire at an unoccupied residence in the Rawlings area.  A manufactured home was discovered to have been destroyed by a fire on Friday afternoon. A resident who periodically checks the property reported the incident.  Firefighters responded to put out hot spots in the yard.  The cause of the fire is unknown but preliminary investigation shows that it started on the interior of the residence.
