Resource Managers for community assistance will soon be able at two local libraries.  In a joint project with the Department of Social Services, Allegany County Library locations in South Cumberland and Westernport will have weekly walk-in sessions available to help clients looking for different assistance programs.  Ashley Swinford of the library system explains that the present library staff can assist to a certain point, but having a trained expert available on site is helpful in getting assistance quickly and efficiently…

The resource managers will be available at the South Cumberland Library Fridays 1-4pm and at the Westernport Library on Tuesdays 1:30-430pm.
