Laughter is the best medicine while music is good for the soul, and Rocky Gap Casino Resort, located at 16701 Lakeview Road NE, will host unforgettable summer entertainment from various musical talent and comedians throughout June.
Signatures Bar & Grill will host live performances throughout the month, including:
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 2: Chuck Cantalamessa, playing mellow folk rock, a mixture of country and festive upbeat sounds of the islands
· Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 3: Cody Eagle, a country singer
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 3: Charlie McClanahan, who will deliver soulful acoustic music
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 9: Eric McCrum, who will delight guests with his acoustic sounds
· Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 10: Don Carmen, who will provide a relaxing atmosphere with easy-listening music
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 10: Josh Covert will take the stage performing melodic acoustic songs
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 16: Jason Teach, performing rock hits
· Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 17: Jason McDonald, who will play acoustic rock hits
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 17: Dustin McCray, an acoustic rock and folk artist
· Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 24: Jacob Blank, who will bring back ‘70s and ‘80s hits
· 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 23: Dave Howsare, performing acoustic rock and folk music
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 24: Josh Covert, performing melodic acoustic songs
· 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 30: Jason McDonald, who will play acoustic rock hits
In addition, comedian Jim Florentine will perform at Bonkerz Comedy Club at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 22. A TV host, actor, podcaster and voice artist, Florentine has made audiences worldwide laugh for nearly 25 years. He is best known for co-hosting VH1 Classic's heavy metal talk show series, “The Metal Show,” and Comedy Central's popular show “Crank Yankers,” where he performed the voice of Special Ed and Bobby Fletcher. Florentine has appeared in other critically acclaimed shows, like "Inside Amy Schumer," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," "Californication," and films such as Trainwreck. Florentine also released two comedy specials in 2016 called "I'm Your Savior" and "A Simple Man," which debuted at No. 1 on the comedy charts. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with advance tickets priced at $25 and day-of tickets priced at $30. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Tickets are available to purchase here.
