Ruth Davis-Rogers, Historic Preservation Planner gave some background on City Historic Preservation Plan

The City of Cumberland has contracted with the Lakota Group out of Chicago to create a Historic Preservation Plan for the City. The plan is designed to integrate historic preservation and revitalization efforts with city planning, economic development, heritage tourism, and housing. A public meeting will be held on May 3 at City Hall for citizens and property owners to share ideas and opinions with the Lakota Group. Ruth Davis-Rogers, Historic Preservation Planner, gave some background on the consultancy group from Chicago.
