The Potomac District Scout show will be hosted at Canal Place on Saturday, August 19th from noon to 4PM. The family friendly event will showcase Scouting and highlight the many opportunities Scouting provides area youth. Michele Brenneman, Assistant Scout Executive spoke with WCBC news about the scouting program and how it helps young people develop character and become service minded citizens…

 

Scout Units from Allegany, Garrett, Mineral, Hampshire, Hardy & Grant counties will be on hand with interactive fun displays on camping, Dutch oven cooking as well as tasting.
