A partnership between Allegany County Tourism, Frostburg First and the Downtown Development Commission will add more joy for shoppers visiting local businesses. The “Shop Small, Win Big” promotion is back, kicking off on Friday and running through December 19. Shoppers making purchases at local merchants can submit their receipts for chances to win weekly prizes, according to DDC Director Melinda Kelleher…

   

“Each Saturday in December they will do a drawing for everybody that submitted receipts that week and each week they receive a VISA gift card – it’s a $50 gift card and then the grand prize drawing is the last one  and that’s a $550 VISA gift card so it’s like a $1000 in prizes.”
