Somerset Mine Accident Victim Identified

New details have been uncovered in the death of a miner in Somerset.  The US Mine Safety and Health Administration listed the incident under the category Powered Haulage. On Monday, 37-year old Brandon Frederick of Johnstown, a miner at the Maple Springs Mine in Somerset, was killed after being trapped between a mine rib and a shuttle car. Other workers were able to transport the worker out of the mine to an ambulance.
