South Mechanic Street will be closed to thru traffic between Baltimore Street and Pershing Street between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30th and Wednesday, May 31st. Signage will be in place to detour passenger vehicles around the road closure. Trucks will be detoured to Queen City Drive. Flaggers will be in place at the Baltimore Street Intersection to allow one lane of traffic to remain open for vehicles travelling between N. Mechanic Street and Baltimore Street. As part of this utility work, a localized water outage will take place on both days. Any customers affected by the outage will be notified by the Engineering Department. Traffic is expected to be restored on both days by 6:00 PM.
