The State of Maryland rarely calls for special sessions once the General Assembly concludes in April, but this year may be different. House Minority Leader Jason Buckel says he believes there’s a better than even chance that this year will be one where Governor Wes Moore calls the legislators back to Annapolis in light of ongoing budget uncertainties…
“I think it’s probably I would say 60, 66% likely that we’ll have a special session at some point in time this year. We’ve only had special sessions twice in the ten years that I’ve served in Annapolis.”
