Maryland hospitals and health systems will require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. On Wednesday, the University of Maryland Medical System and Johns Hopkins Medicine announced their COVID-19 vaccine requirements for employees.
UMMS officials said starting Sept. 1, all team members will be required to receive their vaccination or participate in weekly testing. Officials also said all leaders at the manager level and above will have until Aug. 1 to be vaccinated or comply with weekly testing
