Summer reading programs start today at libraries across Allegany County. Readers are encouraged to log the books they read over the summer. Allegany County Library Marketing Director Ashley Swinford says all ages can participate by logging what they read from the library. Swinford said the reader’s choice of physical books, audiobooks, or magazines all get them a chance to win prizes…

   

“You fill it out and then you bring it back in. Kids get a free book and adults and teens we have our library tote with our logo on it for the first reading log you return. And then every reading log that comes back to us will get entered into our grand prize drawings.”
