UPMC Western Maryland to hold Pfizer vaccine clinic Friday, May 21 for ages 12 and up

In order to continue to facilitate vaccination efforts in Allegany County and to better serve the community, UPMC Western Maryland is pleased to partner with the Allegany County Health Department to announce an upcoming Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination clinic to be held Friday, May 21, from noon until 6 p.m. in the hospital auditorium. 

    All Individuals age 12 and older are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, and this clinic will administer the first dose. Please note, individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent present to sign a consent form.

    Those interested can register for an appointment online at https://www.marylandvax.org/appointment/en/reg/1960820900 . Walk-ins are also welcome.

    Individuals should enter the hospital through the entrance adjacent to the parking garage where they will be screened and then directed to registration where they will be required to show their driver’s license or another valid form of identification.

    UPMC Western Maryland recognizes the importance of safely distributing the COVID-19 vaccine to its community members, and is pleased to be able to offer this additional option along with the other opportunities now available in Allegany County.
