U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen joined Frostburg State University (FSU) President Ron Nowaczyk’s Leadership Circle Roundtable Friday- meeting with students to discuss his role in the Senate and current issues facing Congress. Afterwards, the Senator toured FSU’s Western Maryland Advanced Technology Center (ATC) to learn more about their tech focused initiatives. During the visit, the Senator had the opportunity to see the impact of the over $1.7 million in federal investments he hekped secure for the ATC facility to accelerate regional clean energy jobs and advance clean energy, information technology, and biotech training.
