The next steps in the city’s revitalization of the Virginia Avenue corridor will include a façade grant workshop, according to City Main Street Manager Melinda Kelleher. Sometime in the beginning of November, the city will host commercial building owners who want to refresh the façade of their building. Kelleher told WCBC there are already people considering the opportunity…

   

“We know of four or five property owners that are very interested in applying, so we’ll be meeting with them one-on-one over the next month to talk about their ideas and what they need. We’re probably going to be doing a façade grant workshop, probably the first week of November to go over all of the grant opportunities.”
