Voters in the city of Cumberland elected one incumbent and one political newcomer Tuesday. Rock Cioni was the leading vote getter and he will be joined on the council by Jimmy Furstenburg. Cioni told WCBC News that he greatly enjoyed working with Joe George but now is the time to welcome a new councilman.
Furstenberg said that he hopes to help the city move more quickly on projects.
