Warrant Arrests Through Sheriff, State Police

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police – Barrack C have combined resources to target open and active warrants.
As a result, the following individuals have been apprehended.
Friday, January 12, 2024
James Timothy Davis Jr., 35 of Westernport, was arrested on a District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear. His original charges include: Theft Less $100 and Malicious Destruction of Property/Value Less Than $1,000. He was released on his own recognizance by the court commissioner.
Christopher Tyler Dawson, 33 of Westernport, was served a District Court Arrest Warrant for Theft: $100 to Under $1,500. He was released on his own recognizance by the court commissioner.
Amanda Dawn Norvell, 32 of Burlington, WV, was served a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Violation of Probation hearing on November 21, 2023. Her original conviction was for Misdemeanor Conspiracy – Possession With Intent To Distribute where she received a 1-year suspended sentence and 3-years of Supervised Probation. She is currently being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review in Circuit Court.
