On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Cumberland Police Department, Maryland Department of Corrections Warrant Unit and Maryland State Police – Barrack C, combined resources to conduct a comprehensive warrant sweep. As a result, the following individuals were apprehended:
Christopher Leon Love Jr., 22 of Hagerstown, was arrested and served a Grand Jury Indictment. Charges include: CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis, CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics, and CDS: Distribution-Narcotics. He is currently being held without bond pending a bail review in Circuit Court.
William Victor Wight, 39 of Cumberland, was arrested on a District Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. His original conviction was for: Assault – Second Degree where he was sentenced to a 3-year jail term with 18-months suspended and 3-years Supervised Probation. A $5,000 bond has been set in this matter.
Ryan Anthony Swan-Green, 36 of Cumberland, was arrested and served a Grand Jury Indictment outlining charges including: 3 counts of CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics, 2 counts of CDS: Distribution-Narcotics, and 2 counts of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. He was released on a $10,000 Unsecured Personal Bond (UPB) at his bail review.
Gary Tyler Schultz, 53 of Frostburg, was arrested and served a Grand Jury Indictment outlining charges including: 2 counts of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis, 2 counts of CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics and 2 counts of CDS: Distribution-Narcotics. He was released on a $10,000 Unsecured Personal Bond (UPB) at his bail review.
Ashley Rose McGoye, 31 of Rawlings, was arrested on a District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Violation of Probation hearing. Her original conviction was for Trespass-Posted Property where she entered a guilty plea and received a Probation Before Judgement of 12-months unsupervised probation. At the time of arrest, McGoye was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and additional charges are pending. She was released on a $2,500 Unsecured Personal Bond (UPB) at her bail review.
Jonathan Wayne Fazenbaker, 23 of Lonaconing, was arrested and served a Grand Jury Indictment for charges including: CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis, CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics, and CDS Distribution: Narcotics. He was released on a $5,000 Unsecured Personal Bond (UPB).
John Paul Lovin Jr., 32 of Frostburg, was served a District Court Arrest Warrant for charges including: Violation of Protective Order, Arson/Threat, False Imprisonment, and Disturbing the Peace / Disorderly. He was related on a $5,000 cash bond.
