On Friday, September 19th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 400 block of Warwick Ave for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers contacted the parties involved. It was learned that an argument had occurred in the home which had turned physical. It was alleged that a female had attacked the victim causing multiple injuries to the victims face, neck and arms. As a result of the investigation, Karlie Austin, 22, was placed under arrest. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond.

ARRESTED -   Karlie Austin, 22yo.
CHARGES -  Assault 2nd Degree.
