Water Service to be interupted in Decatur Heights area on Wednesday

The City of Cumberland Engineering Department, on behalf of Belt Construction, would like to notify the public that water service will be shut down in the Decatur Heights region of the City on Wednesday, June 22 from 8am – 12pm (noon), in order for the contractor to repair a portion of the existing system. Residents and businesses on the following streets are expected to be without water:

 

Frederick Street from Decatur Street to Linden Street

 

Additional information will be released in the event the planned outage area needs to be expanded or the duration needs extended.

 

Residents are advised to avoid the area as much as possible during this time to allow for the work to be completed safely and successfully.
