West Virginia Resources Partner Against Drugs and Alcohol

August 23rd, 2023 by WCBC Radio

The West Virginia Department of Human Resources Bureau for Behavioral Health and The West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration are partnering to help students with prevention messages about alcohol and substance abuse.  BBH leads a statewide substance use prevention network that works with schools and communities to implement effective prevention strategies. Programs build student resilience and encourage healthy alternatives to underage drinking and substance abuse.  The Alcohol Beverage Control’s Fall Safety Plan starts in September with the annual No School Spirits PSA contest. They will also be traveling the state visiting high schools to share the DUI Simulator program.
