The Winter Market being planned for the Canal Place Plaza is new to the area for the holidays. Downtown Development Director Melinda Kelleher tells WCBC that the event has activities for all ages and is family-friendly. Crowds are expected at the event that takes place December 2 and 9 from 5-9pm as it takes place at the same time as the Polar Express on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. Kelleher says part of the event will include help for non-profits in the area…
Kelleher hopes to see the Winter Market continue next year and will be looking at this year’s event to find suggestions and additions for the future…
