On June 1st, 2022, The Cumberland City Police arrested Belen Marie Waybright, 37, of Cumberland MD. Waybright was arrested on three outstanding Warrants issued by the Allegany County District Court. Two Bench Warrants were served for failing to obey an order of the court. A third Arrest Warrant was served charging Waybright with 1st Degree Escape and 2 counts of 2nd Degree Escape. Waybright was taken before the District Court Commissioner for her Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond.
