Board of Education Meets Tuesday

The Allegany County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday in the Washington Board Room at the Board of Education offices on Washington Street.  At the public meeting that begins at 5pm, a number of presentations and proclamations will be made for student success in math competitions and sports. The Allegany County Teacher of the Year, Elaine Davis will also receive recognition. The board will consider second readings on policies dealing with guest speakers in the schools and student search, seizure, and arrest on school property.
