SHA Sets Bridge Deck Work

The Maryland State Highway Administration has two projects this week to seal concrete bridge decks to enhance longevity. The project to seal decking on the Interstate-68 bridge over Creek Road will have right lane and left lane closures overnight in both directions starting July 14 until July 15 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.  The US 522 bridge over Interstate-70 near Hancock will be detoured on July 15 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Signage will be in place to direct drivers through the detours. Work will be completed, weather permitting.
