While the Allegany Campers are in action Friday night at Silver Oak, WCBC Sports has confirmed that the game with Friendship Academy scheduled for Saturday, October 18th, will not be played.
Friendship Athletic Director Tonisha Montgomery told us that Allegany had attempted to schedule her school for that date, but when it became apparent that the school’s college tour conflicted with the game, those plans had to be scuttled.
Montgomery said there was never a signed contract between the schools, and that it wasn’t very likely that a game could be scheduled in future years because of agreements already in place.
