On Saturday at 10:19 am Cumberland City Police responded to the 300 block of Chestnut Street for a reported assault. Officers found the victim holding a bloody rag to his head. The victim and his brother had argued over money and he had been struck over the head with a brick. The victim was transported to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Arrested was Christopher Nelson Frazier II, 27, of Cumberland. Frazier was charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, and reckless endangerment. He was held on $8,500 bond in the Allegany County Detention Center.
