Cox Pleased with Progress Despite Hardships

August 29th, 2011 by WCBC Radio

Allegany County School Superintendent Dr David Cox has reached the half way point of his four year contract- and he says if he had to make a decision today he would gladly re-up for another term. Despite record budget cuts from the state; the need to find funding for a new Allegany High School; and a challenge from parents in Little Orleans- Dr Cox says he is pleased with the progress the system is making overall- and that he’d like to stay on to complete any number of programs that have been initiated.
