Discussion Continues on Emergency Services Between City and County

Finding a resolution to a decade's old problem involving emergency service in Allegany County and Cumberland remains a priority for local officials. City council members have complained for some time about the large amount of calls outside the city limits for service that the city handles – without adequate compensation. Mayor Brian Grim says he has discussed the issue with Commissioner Mike McKay and is optimistic on a future agreement
