A former director of the local chapter of the American Red Cross has died.
Grace Fleming was 87 and had headed the Red Cross here in the 1980’s. In the 70’s, she was the executive secretary of the American Cancer Society in Allegany and Garrett Counties.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church on May 24th at 10 AM. The Scarpelli Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
