Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler released a statement Saturday saying he will not seek a third term as Attorney General. Gansler did not comment on running for governor. According to WBAL News, his aides have assured reporters he will enter the race, currently planning a formal announcement in the fall after his primary rival Lt. Governor Anthony Brown announcing his candidacy for governor last month.
