Pirolozzi Wants Infrastructure Repair Fund

With the Cumberland Mayor and City Council in the midst of its budget season- one priority issue centers on capital projects and infrastructure upgrades  that have to be completed for safety reasons. The city has any number of such projects to address and Council member Mary Beth Pirolozzi believes that establishing an, infrastructure repair rainy day fund would be a sound practice. She notes that the number of major water breaks alone the city has experienced in the past year is reason for concern- although it was noted that while those were significant line breaks, overall the number of incidents were down. She requested city administrator Jeff Rhodes to formulate a capital investment/infrastructure priority list…
