On Wednesday, an Arrest Warrant was served on Leo Durocher Jr., 20 years of age of Cumberland. The warrant stems from an investigation initiated by the Cumberland Police Dept on 07/19/12 at 0728hrs when Officers were dispatched to the 200blk of Glenn St in reference to a tampering with a motor vehicle complaint. Upon arrival Officers spoke with the victim as well as several witnesses who advised that a male subject was in the victim’s vehicle rooting through the contents. Witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect who officers were able to identify as Leo Durocher Jr. Units checked the area for Durocher but were not able to locate him. Officers applied for charges on Durocher through the District Court of Maryland which issued a warrant for the incident. Durocher was charged with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle and Rogue and Vagabond.
