On Sunday at approximately 7:00 PM, the Cumberland Police assisted by the Cumberland Fire Department and Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Office, responded to the McDonald’s on Industrial Boulevard for a suspicious device found in the bathroom.
The building was evacuated and traffic in and around the establishment was halted for approximately 2 hours until the device was deemed safe by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
