Just before 2 AM Saturday morning, troopers from the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barracks responded to the area of 703 N. First Street, LaVale, for a motor vehicle collision.
Troopers, assisted by the Allegany County Sherriff’s Department and LaVale Volunteer Fire Department, located a single vehicle off the roadway with extensive damage. The vehicle was identified as a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt with three occupants.
All three individuals were fatally injured as result of the collision. The individual’s identities are not being released at this time, pending notification to the families, as well as further investigation.
