The Allegany County Department of Public Works Utilities Division will install a sewer connection for a new house at 11903 Knob Road. After the sewer installation is complete, a paving contractor will blacktop the cut in the road. Therefore, on Thursday and Friday, October 29 and 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Knob Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic. Drivers will be able to access homes on Knob Road from either end of Knob Road, however, they will not be able to travel from one end to the other.
The Utilities Division personnel will wear Allegany County identified safety vests during this work. Questions may be directed to the Allegany County Department of Public Works – Utilities Division – Bowling Green Field Office, 301-729-3311, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
