Two suspects armed with a handgun robbed several people playing cards at the American Legion on Green Street, Piedmont, WV, early Wednesday, according to the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office.
No injuries were reported in the incident that occurred at about 12:40 a.m., when two black male suspects entered an upstairs room through a rear door, brandished a pistol and demanded money from several victims.
The suspects ran from the area after robbing the victims were playing cards at the time of the incident, police said.
No further details were available concerning the description of the suspects.
