18-year-old Martin E. Witt Jr., charged with arson in the fire Wednesday afternoon that destroyed the Artmor Plastics building, remains jailed at the Allegany County Detention on $250,000 bond following a district court bail review. The loss has been estimated at $750,000. One-hundred-twenty-five volunteer firefighters from 20 companies responded to the incident which is still under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office
