Berkeley Springs Instruments is planning to expand its Allegany County operation with a new location near Frostburg State University. Gene Silverman is the founder and president of BSI. Founded in 2007 in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, before moving to Allegany County in 2012- BSI is an operation that creates systems to test and monitor the structural integrity of pipelines and mechanical structures.
