Delegate Wendell Beitzel of Garrett County was among the thousands on hand in Cleveland last night for the final night of the Republican National Convention as Donald Trump gave his acceptance speech. His lengthy address received mostly high marks including from Beitzel, who was there as an elected Trump delegate. He tells WCBC News that he felt Trump did a tremendous job in uniting the party and hitting all the right notes as he wrapped up the four day convention. He said that he was disapointed Maryland Governor Larry Hogan chose not to attend, but holds out hope that Hogan may ulimately support Trump.
