Bishop Walsh among those preparing for September restart

Under the plan now on the table, Bishop Walsh students could be returning to the classroom in a little over a month. Last week the Archdiocese of Baltimore laid out a plan for Catholic school students- providing the option of going back into the classroom or learning from home for the 2020-2021 school year. In a memo sent to parents, the Archdiocese said a task force is working on a plan to ensure the safe return of faculty and staff on August  24 and students the following week for instruction five days per week. Catholic schools will offer three modes of learning: In-person, online and hybrid models. At a time when many states are experiencing spikes in cases of COVID-19, Maryland’s numbers have been steadily improving.
