Cumberland Police, on Saturday, served an arrest warrant on 34 year old Jeremy Combs of Cumberland.
The warrant stems from a incident on march 11th, 2018 when officers responded to a residence on Boone St in reference to an assault. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who advised that Combs would not allow them to leave and also punched and choked them. The victim had minor injuries which did not require medical attention.
Combs had fled the area prior to officers arriving resulting in the arrest warrant being issued.
Combs was transported to Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with assault 2nd degree and reckless endangerment.
Combs was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was held on a $5,000 bail pending his next court appearance.
