The suspect wanted in connection with the shooting which occurred on 02/21/2018 at the intersection of Boone Street and Oak Street in Cumberland has been apprehended. A thirty-six year old Cumberland man was seriously injured when he was struck by a shotgun blast during the incident.
Thirty-three year old Cody Michael Fisher, of Cumberland, was arrested on Monday night, 02/26/2018, by members of the Frederick County Sheriff's Office at a motel in Frederick. Fisher did not have the shotgun used during the incident in his possession at the time of his arrest.
Fisher is being returned to Cumberland to face charges of Attempted Murder, 1st Degree Assault, and numerous firearm related charges.
