    Government bureaucracy at it’s worst.
That’s funny because that’s what we call Buckel around here!

Amen! He & McKay need to go! Nothing but pandering and lip service without any meaningful results.

It is gratifying to see our local officials going all pot and kettle like their national counterparts.

The city needed to sue CSX for damages day 1. Then it would be fixed by now. They continue to do nothing. County, state, or feds need to take charge

A bunch of filthy rich folks complaining about a bridge! Isn’t it sad that you can’t get the attention you need in spite of your over stuffed pocket books! Now you know how the rest of us live only with more inconveniences than you could ever imagine!

Ray Morriss ran for Mayor on this issue and said he would get the bridges fixed and use his inside CSX connections. So why hasnt he done it? Were we all misled by his political promises and rhetoric? Was the plain spoken ugly truth already told to us and we just opted for a new face because we didnt like what we heard? Ray Morriss seems incapable of getting anything done in Cumberland.

      > Morriss’s inside connections with CSX have actually worked, for CSX!

        > I guess we shouldn’t be surprised since CSX did endorse him. They wanted their guy to help derail the process and he sold citizens on the idea that he could get things done.
