C3I investigating “sexting” incident at Fort Hill

May 8th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

WCBC News has learned that an alleged “sexting” incident involving students at Fort Hill High School is being investigated by Cumberland City Police and C3I. “Sexting” is described as the act of sending sexually explicit messages or pictures by way of cell phones. Indications from some  parents who have asked to remain anonymous is that several female students sent nude or partially nude pictures of themselves to male students- and those pictures have since been widely distributed. Fort Hill Principal Steve Lewis and the Board of Education are unable to comment at this point as the case is part of an ongoing C3I investigation. A spokesperson for C3I was not immediately available
