Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority Focusing On Creating River Park

With the Footer Dye Works project closing in on its finish line with loft apartments now being rented and a micro brewery planning to open- the Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority is now clearly focused on creating a River Park tourist attraction.  Plans call for the construction of a recreational park at the confluence of Wills Creek and the North Branch of the Potomac River. Executive Director Dee Dee Ritchie says the park would connect all the trails that lead to the city as well as create access to the river for kayaks and boats…

    Im all for it ,just as long as its not on the backs of the taxpayer.Maryland desperately needs another Roscoe Bartlett.
