With the Footer Dye Works project closing in on its finish line with loft apartments now being rented and a micro brewery planning to open- the Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority is now clearly focused on creating a River Park tourist attraction. Plans call for the construction of a recreational park at the confluence of Wills Creek and the North Branch of the Potomac River.
